Understanding Manifestation Through Books
Jump to section
In manifestation, we set our goals and visualize them because visualizing our goals makes us feel as though we have already achieved them. Thinking about the end result gives us a good feeling, and we keep working towards our goal. By visualizing, we stay motivated and build trust in the process. If you don’t know about manifestation, you can read a full article about it on the website.
Why Manifestation Books Matter in Your Journey.
Books play an important role in the manifestation journey because they explain it in detail, provide actionable exercises, motivate readers, and offer guidance. These books often include the experiences of the authors and others, which help readers gain insights into things they may not have known. This detailed information and relatable experiences build readers’ confidence in the manifestation process.
Book 1: “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne
Overview of Concepts and Accessibility for Beginners:
The author of this book, Rhonda Byrne, says, “Until I discovered this secret, I did not know how much power meditation has. Meditation calms your mind.”
Rhonda Byrne writes about this power of meditation in her book The Secret. She says that you do not have to meditate for hours. In the beginning, start with 2-3 minutes and work up to 10 minutes, gradually increasing the power of meditation.
The magnetic power in thoughts generates a frequency that reaches the universe, and the universe attracts those things to you. You might say that bad things are happening in your life. How is this happening?
Often, we put so much emphasis on negative thoughts in our minds that the universe brings all of that into our lives those very things we are thinking should not happen, should not happen, should not happen. And that’s exactly what happens.
Have you seen that when a person falls from a building, whether or not they know about the law of gravitation, they will fall down? Because this is the law of gravitation.
Similarly, whether you know about the law of attraction or not, the law of attraction works in the same way. The way thoughts are revolving in your mind is described in The Secret Book.
The Three Steps in The Secret
There are three steps to understanding The Secret that can bring everything into your life.
- Ask.
- Believe.
- Receive.
Ask: You should know what you want. You should have clarity of thoughts about what you want. What do you want? Start asking for it. The universe will start giving it to you.
Believe: You have to believe that whatever you have sent to the universe has already happened to you. When you go into the world of imagination, the universe becomes active.
And it starts becoming the truth. Believing means that you have to act this way. You have to speak and think as if you have already received what you asked for.
Receive: Start feeling what you have asked for—the way you would feel after getting that thing. Suppose you have received it. Believe that you have it. Then you are generating a frequency that makes your power and thoughts stronger in the universe.
The Power of Visualization
The power of visualization is explained in The Secret book in a short story. John Azaroff wanted to implement the law of attraction. In 1995, he made a vision board, placing pictures of everything he wanted to attract, like a car, a house, and a life partner. Every day, he would sit in his office, look at it, and visualize it.
Eventually, he reached that situation. But for some reason, he had to move to another city. He packed all his furniture and belongings into boxes and put them in storage. Over the next five years, he moved to three different cities. Finally, he settled in California and bought a house.
One day, his son came into his office and asked about a locked box he had kept. “What’s in it?” John said there was a vision board in it. His young son didn’t know what a vision board was, so John explained that he put pictures of his goals on it.
His son, being curious, asked if they could open it. When John took out the vision board, he saw a picture of the house he had visualized five years earlier—the exact same house he had just bought in California. When he saw that picture, he started crying.
The young boy asked why he was crying. John Azaroff said, “I understand now how the law of attraction works.” If you also want to achieve your dreams, put a picture on a vision board and start visualizing as John Azaroff did.
Jack Canfield summarizes this chapter of the book: Decide what you want, believe that you can get it, believe that you deserve it, and believe that it is possible for you.
In summary, feel the emotions around you, concentrate on them, show gratitude for the things you already have, and start enjoying every moment.
Dedicate your thoughts on what you want to the universe, and believe that it will manifest in your life. This is The Secret, which also talks about the power of meditation; it is written in detail in our scriptures.
Famous Quotes from The Secret:
“You get what you feel, not what you think. So start feeling.”
“Our current state is the result of past thoughts.”
Buddha also taught that “a man’s thoughts become his deeds.”
Book 2: “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks
One of the most influential manifestation books, Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks, emphasizes that your entire life exists only in this moment. The past has passed; it is merely your memory.
You have some expectations from the future moments yet to come. Unknowingly, we believe that the next moment the upcoming moment will be better and more significant than this one.
This is why we do not remain present in this moment, and in this cycle, we get lost in our entire life because our whole life is only now. This is the main message of the power of now.
Living in the Now and Understanding Your True Essence
Your true essence, as Eckhart Tolle states, lies at the core of your being. Without any effort, everyone feels, “I am.” Your fundamental nature simply is. When you come fully into the present moment, joy begins to flow. This moment is also just now.
When you are entirely present in this moment, you realize that you are behind this mind, and without any effort, you simply exist. This brings a deeper sense of happiness that cannot be understood mentally but can only be experienced.
When you begin to genuinely feel this being, when this awareness is awakened, joy naturally manifests. Therefore, Eckhart Tolle says that as you come into the present moment, you realize that you are present.
Creating Distance Between the Mind and Yourself
Next, Tolle states that distance between the mind and yourself is essential for presence.
He explains that to achieve presence, there needs to be a separation between the mind and yourself. In unconsciousness, we identify with our mind.
For example, if someone says, “I am blind,” we can realize that the body is blind, but “I” am not, as we are not the body. In this way, we create an identity with our minds. People often say, “I don’t feel good,” but in reality, it’s their mindset that isn’t good.
The mind says, “I don’t feel good,” and you are just observing the mind. In ordinary consciousness, there’s no distance between the mind and ourselves, and we have developed the habit of sticking to the mind.
Hence, we accept this unconsciousness as normal, leading to judgment, dissatisfaction, restlessness, and anxiety. A person becomes unhappy because of their own thoughts and thus tries to find happiness in external things.
You can transform every challenge in life into acceptance by creating a distance between the mind and yourself, allowing you to rise above unconsciousness. The challenges awaken you and elevate your awareness.
Cultivating Vibrant Energy:
Do not let negativity spread in life. Eckhart Tolle emphasizes that when everything is going well in your life, consciously perform your daily activities. Be so present that every cell of your body is filled with the vibrations of life force, and experience joy in every moment. This joy never gets old; it creates a state that prevents negativity from spreading again.
Practicing Mindfulness Techniques:
To create distance from the mind, we can use two practices. The first practice involves noticing what your next thought will be. As thoughts arise in your mind, as soon as you become aware, ask yourself, “What will my next thought be?”
This will delay the next thought, creating a gap between thoughts, and allowing you to be present. If another thought arises, you can ask again what your next thought will be, again creating a delay and reconnecting with the peace between thoughts. You’ll realize you don’t always need to think; you can operate better without constant thoughts.
The second practice is deep acceptance. Do not seek peace. Do not look for a situation that isn’t present; otherwise, you’ll create unconscious resistance. If you’re not feeling calm, forgive yourself.
Accept the constant chatter and complaints of the mind. As soon as you acknowledge, without judgment, that you want to be calm, yet something is happening in your mind, and recognize that whatever is occurring is simply that.
Once you accept the unrest in your mind, that unrest will transform into peace because resistance will dissolve.
Eckhart Tolle states that whatever you fully accept, and for which you are thankful, will bring you to peace. This is the magic of surrender.
Conclusion: If you liked this post, do not make the mistake of trying to change yourself in a day. Instead, learn to use both modes of the mind.
Book 3: “Becoming Supernatural” by Dr. Joe Dispenza
In the Becoming Supernatural book, along with scientific information, ancient knowledge has also been included so that we can experience a mystical life. If you follow the knowledge and instructions mentioned in this book properly, then you too will be able to recognize the supernatural power hidden inside you, which will help you to get a healthy body, unlimited mind, and great success.
Chapter 01: Opening the Door to the Supernatural
Dr. Joe Dispenza says that our emotions are nothing but a chemical reaction to our past experiences. It is because of these chemicals that memories are formed in our minds.
When these memories make their home in our minds, they become a part of our lives. It is very difficult for us humans to get rid of our past experiences or our memories.
Even author Dr. Joe Dispenza says that, in a way, our memories become an addiction for us. Our body gets used to adrenaline because of our past experiences, and because of this, our mind does not want to forget its past experiences.
To forget old memories, it is important that you think about the emotions of happiness and love and focus your attention on the present moment.
Chapter 02: The Present Moment
The author says that if you want to become supernatural, then first of all, you have to learn how to recognize the present moment and how to live in the present moment.
At the same time, you also have to learn how to see things beyond this physical world and time. You must keep your mind open to every possibility in the universe.
Usually, we think that we have only one mind, but actually, we have many minds. Different minds for each task, like a cooking mind, driving mind, working mind, etc.
Since we have been doing these things for years, our brain gets programmed to do them the right way. As we have already learned, our memories are just a chemical reaction to our past experiences. If memories are seen as chemical substances, then, according to science, we can also change them.
Our daily routine becomes our habits, which are formed by repeating the same work again and again. As long as we continue to live our lives under the same routine, we cannot bring any major change into it.
When we think about something, our brain actually generates an electrical charge. After this, when our thinking triggers a chemical reaction, feelings, and emotions are born inside us. Due to these emotions, a magnetic field is formed around us, allowing us to create and radiate energy around us.
Love, happiness, and joy are high-frequency energies, whereas anger, hatred, and fear are low-frequency energies. The author says that we should try to create more and more high-frequency energy so that we can get rid of negative emotions and bad experiences of the past.
Chapter 06: Living Examples of Truth
In this chapter, the author shares the true stories of some people whom Dr. Dispenza helped cure various diseases and medical conditions with his prescribed meditation practice.
Jenny was a victim of a car accident, after which she always had pain in her back and legs. Due to this pain, she could not work, walk properly, or even take care of her children. Jenny and her husband were desperate for any kind of solution to this problem. Her doctor advised back surgery, to which Jenny and her husband immediately agreed.
A week before the surgery, Jenny came to Seattle with her husband, where they were going to attend various events. This journey was very difficult for Jenny, but she somehow completed it.
The first day of the event was nothing special for her, and she felt the journey was a waste of time. On the second day, however, Dr. Dispenza was hosting an event where he was giving a session on his breathing technique.
Jenny unknowingly took part in that event. At the very beginning of the session, she felt something different inside her and focused all her attention on releasing that energy.
She felt that the energy associated with her pain was being released, and gradually, her pain started reducing. By the end of the session, Jenny was completely free from her pain.
Daniel was a hardworking businessman. One day, he suddenly experienced a severe headache, fainted, and fell to the ground. After this incident, he started experiencing constant pain in his head.
His pain was so intense that he was unable to work, which eventually forced him to stop working. Upon diagnosis by doctors, it was found that he had electromagnetic hypersensitivity, meaning his pain increased significantly when he was around any electronic gadget, such as a mobile phone, radio, or
TV. This disease affects only a few people worldwide, and there is currently no sure cure in medical science. Daniel came to know about Dr. Dispenza and his work while searching for a cure.
He started practicing the meditation technique prescribed by Dr. Dispenza, and gradually, his pain began to reduce. The reduction process was slow, initially lasting a few minutes, then a few hours, and eventually extending over a few days. Today, Daniel is completely healthy and free from his pain.
Book 4: “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill
This book Think and Grow Rich isn’t just a random collection of thoughts someone put together on a whim. The author conducted interviews with over 500 people who are among the richest in the world. From these interviews, they distilled certain common factors, which helped them create a step-by-step process. This process, when followed, can help anyone achieve success like those individuals.
Desire
The most important chapter in this book is on Desire. At the end of that chapter, there are some lines that sum up the entire message: “I wish to convey the thought that all achievement, no matter what its nature or purpose, must begin with an intense burning desire for something definite.”
This statement emphasizes that any achievement, no matter its type, starts with an intense desire rooted deeply in the subconscious. It’s not just a superficial wish sparked by seeing someone else’s success. That’s more like a passing wish.
There’s a difference between what is called Desire and a Wish. Everyone wants to be rich; there’s no one who doesn’t. But that can’t be called an intense desire. An intense desire—the kind that drives someone to succeed in any field—is rare.
So, as the book says, any kind of achievement begins with an intense, burning desire for something specific. This desire must be consistently burning within, not something that turns “on” and “off.”
Wishful thinking exists in everyone—thinking like, “I want this much money, I want that.” All of this is wishful thinking, which arises in us by observing others. But a burning desire for something definite, where people know exactly what they want, is found in very few people.
You could say that once an image in the mind becomes clear, it essentially connects to some form of image. When that image becomes definite, all the chemicals in the brain start to function in a particular way, releasing exactly what is needed to make that image a reality. The body is so intelligent that it automatically uses those chemicals internally, causing a person’s body and mind to move in that direction.
In our minds, thousands of things are constantly running together, but for the person who becomes clear about their desire and knows they want to achieve it, their mind begins to focus in one direction.
Auto Suggestion
It is said here that this is the medium for influencing the subconscious mind. What is the subconscious mind? It’s our habits, the actions we perform without thinking.
For example, when you don’t know how to drive, you learn through the conscious mind. Once you know how to drive, it happens subconsciously. You may be thinking of something else consciously, but the driving continues.
So it is said that no thought, whether negative or positive, can enter the subconscious mind without the aid of the principle of auto-suggestion. You can also understand auto-suggestion as repetition. Auto-suggestion means giving suggestions to ourselves, repeatedly telling our mind something over and over.
If we want to develop any skill, we need repetition and practice on a mental level. Currently, it’s just a desire, but to turn it into a burning desire, we need auto-suggestion on a mental level.
Auto-suggestion means thinking about it repeatedly, over and over. Gradually, it will move from the conscious mind to the subconscious. Then what will happen? Those thoughts will start coming on their own.
Imagination
There are some very interesting lines here: “The imagination is literally the workshop where all plans are created by people. The impulse, the desire, is given shape, form, and action through the aid of the imaginative faculty of the mind.”
This means that imagination is also very important. We often think that imagination is only for people in creative fields. But if you want to achieve anything, you first have to imagine it, as it’s completely different from your current reality.
If we look around us, anything created by people from a needle to an airplane everything we see today as reality was once just imagination in someone’s mind. Only because it was imagined could it become reality.
If no one had the imagination, how would an image be drawn on paper? If there’s no image, how would a plan be created to make it practically? Everything starts with imagination, which exists in the mind.
My goal with this blog is to share my knowledge and experience with manifestation to inspire people on their own path to personal growth. Here, you’ll find practical tips, methods, and how-tos—all aimed at helping you harness the incredible power of manifestation in your life.
